The blades of these knives are made of 5CrMoV stainless steel, which is an alloy widely used in the culinary world, because it has 15% of chromium content. In fact, such percentage of chromium content is what allows the blades to be resistant to corrosion. Furthemore, the blades have a hardness of 56 HRC in the Rockwell scale, and that is why they are easy to hone with a standard sharpening steel.

Moreover, the handles are made of ABS in black colour. This synthetic material is resistant to strokes and changes in temperature. The lightweight and ergonomic design of the handles let you hold the knives without suffering fatigue in your hands even after intensive usage. Each handle also has 3 steel rivets that are attached to the full tang that runs inside the handle.

To preserve the look and quality of the knives, we recommend you to wash them always by hand and dry them immediately with a soft, dry cloth.

Last but not least, this set also comes with a knife bag that you can use to carry and store your knives in a safe, convenient way. The bag is made of black nylon, and it has 10 individual slots: 5 slots for the 5 kitchen knives in this set + 5 smaller slots that you can use for small additional kitchen accessories.  When the bag is open, it measures 60 x 30cm, and when it is closed, it measures 39.5 x 30cm. It can store knives with a maximum blade length of 22cm.
